The new Humanitas University Campus, developed to expand and enhance the University’s educational offering, covers a total surface area of over 61,000 sqm and consists of three main buildings: Didactics, Research, and HUB. The project involved the construction of new buildings, the completion of outdoor spaces, and the creation of an integrated pedestrian network within the large green park surrounding the complex.

The “Didactics” building accommodates multimedia classrooms, offices, and the Simulation Center, while the “Research” block, organized around an internal courtyard, houses scientific laboratories and academic facilities. The central “HUB” building is dedicated to shared functions such as the library, cafeteria, and social spaces. The entire campus was designed according to environmental sustainability principles and high energy efficiency criteria, featuring groundwater-source heat pumps, low-temperature radiant panels, controlled mechanical ventilation, and photovoltaic systems.

The educational spaces were conceived to ensure maximum flexibility and support hybrid learning modes, through the integration of advanced digital infrastructure, interactive wireless systems, and smart platform-connected environments aimed at improving management, safety, and the overall university experience.
