Maximo
Shopping Centre

32

Maximo is one of the largest shopping centers in Rome. Located in the Laurentino district, within the Grande Raccordo Anulare, it occupies a strategic and easily accessible position, both from the city center and from the main road arteries. The project involved the construction of a commercial, leisure, and food & beverage complex, offering a wide and diversified range of spaces and services.

At the heart of the development lies an open plaza of over 15,000 sqm, designed to host public events and community activities, while fostering integration between the center and the surrounding urban fabric.

From an architectural standpoint, the building stands out for its organic shape and highly distinctive visual impact, featuring a large glazed roof and interior spaces flooded with natural light thanks to skylights and transparent surfaces.

The property is BREEAM-certified “Very Good” and equipped with a high-efficiency natural gas trigeneration plant, capable of supplying electric and thermal energy to common areas, thus contributing to the complex’s overall energy self-sufficiency. The system infrastructure is completed by electric vehicle charging stations.
